People who love Italian food and fellowship demonstrated their enthusiasm Saturday when they consumed more than 150 pounds of spaghetti and 39 large pans of lasagna, and that total didn't account for all the spaghetti sauce, meatballs and cannoli pastries that helped fuel the fun.
Delicious aromas greeted visitors when they arrived at the 20th Annual Southern West Virginia Italian-American Festival. Organized by the Bluefield-Princeton Italian Lodge (OSIA) 2631, the festival raises funds for local scholarships.
