The Sparta Chapter of UNICO National will hosting “A Night of Giving” fundraising dinner where they will be honoring William P. Curcio of Sparta, as the 2017 Community Leader of the Year for his 19 years of Commitment and Service to the Sparta Chapter of UNICO, living up to the UNICO motto “Service above Self and promoting Italian Heritage & Culture in the Community of Sussex County”. The event will take place on Thursday, April 6 at Lake Mohawk Country with special guest speaker, Joe Piscopo, artist, comedian and performer.
Curcio stated that he was “very honored to be selected by Sparta UNICO for this recognition. Sussex County has been home for me and my family for almost four decades and we are pleased to assist in improving the well-being of our home county. It is truly humbling to be receiving this award.”
