Movie 'n' Food (Sapore Di Cinema) is a new exhibition at the Italian Embassy that highlights common elements found in fashion, food, cinema and photography with emphasis on Italian culture. It will be on display at the embassy in Washington, D.C. for only a short time this month.
The exhibition is a result of Expo 2015, currently held in Milan with its theme of "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life." The Movie 'n' Food exhibition emphasizes the strong bond between a movie as a medium and the culture of food that emerges from the memorable images of great Italian cinema in its various facets, says Angela Tangianu, Italian Cultural Institute director.
