The Washington National Opera production of Verdi's Aida, which is currently playing the Kennedy Center Opera House through September 23, will be simulcast free at Washington, D.C.'s Nationals Park. The live opera simulcast, as part of the company's Opera in the Outfield series, is scheduled to begin at 7 PM September 23 (the final performance). Gates will open at 5 PM.

Francesca Zambella directs the WNO production, which was inspired by the street artist RETNA. Jessica Lang choreographs. Tamara Wilson and Leah Crocetto share the title role. Amneris is played by Ekaterina Semenchuk and Marina Prudenskaya, and Yonghoon Lee and Carl Tanner alternate in the role of Radamès. Aida has music by Giuseppe Verdi and a libretto by Antonio Ghislanzoni.
