The city’s rich Italian heritage will be on display for the 11th year in a row at Italian Fest, set for Saturday in downtown Iron Mountain. The event that celebrates all things Italian kicks off at 11 a.m. in the parking lot across from the Dickinson County Library, with a full slate of contests, entertainment, games, food and beverages planned to 11 p.m.
While the event has been spread over two days in the past, organizers decided to focus resources this year on just Saturday, said Gina Wollner of the Italian Fest committee.
