Italian Americans from Macomb County are hoping it doesn’t rain on their parade, scheduled for Saturday morning in downtown Mount Clemens. The National Weather Service forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of showers, with breezy conditions and a high near 76 degrees.
The annual parade -- a celebration of the culture, history and heritage of Italy -- will take place starting at 11 a.m. on Main Street. A variety of social clubs, businesses, pageant queens, marching bands, floats and youth groups are expected to participate.
