The Sant’Amatore Society will host the Feast of Sant’Amatore on May 6. Festivities will include a noon Mass in the Chapel at Villa Scalabrini, 480 N. Wolf Road, Northlake, followed by a procession and reception in Paterno Hall. The day will conclude with a 3:30 p.m. dinner dance at Alta Villa Banquets, 430 N. Addison Road, Addison.
A Novena will be celebrated nightly at 7 p.m. from April 27 to May 5 in the Villa Chapel. Sant’Amatore is the patron saint of Cellamare in the region of Puglia. For details about the saint, society or celebration, call Frank Di Natale at 630-292-1516.
