The 39th annual Festa Italiana will be held from 5 to 11 p.m. Aug. 4, noon to 11 p.m. Aug. 5 and noon and 7 p.m. Aug. 6 at Boylan Catholic High School, 4000 St. Francis Drive. The festival will feature Italian food and pastries, entertainment, an Italian market, souvenirs, bocce tournaments, carnival rides and children’s crafts. Mass will be celebrated by Bishop David J. Malloy at 10 a.m.
Lee Ann Womack will perform a special concert from 7 to 10 p.m. Aug. 3. Concert tickets: $30, includes festival admission. Festival admission: $5; free, ages 12 and younger and active duty military and veterans. For information: facebook.com/rockfordfestaitaliana.
