The Italian American Club of Livonia celebrated its 20th year of supporting the St. Louis Center in Chelsea by sponsoring another successful Culinary Extravaganza on Jan. 25.
The event netted about $35,000 for the transportation program at the SLC, a residential care center for children and adults with developmental disabilities run by the Servants of Charity; a worldwide Catholic Order of Priests that originated in Como, Italy. About 250 people attended.
