Local Italian community paying respects to century-old tragedy

When it comes to history, there are some things that should never be forgotten. That's the case in the local Italian-American community, which has planned a fundraiser to commemorate a fatal train crash that occurred in Adrian, Michigan, in 1901.

It was the night before Thanksgiving and more than 100 Italian immigrants were traveling via two separate trains to work in coal mines in California and Colorado. But the trains collided into each other.
