Keeping it local in Marquette County is something visitors to the Al Quaal Recreation Area in Ishpeming will see: a brand new structure for their use.
A ribbon cutting was held today for a new pavilion at the park. It's 1,000 square feet and has plenty of electrical outlets, that's an improvement on the old pavilion. The St. Rocco/St. Anthony Society donated it to the city as a way of saying thanks for using the park for the annual Italian Fest says the society's President Jim Bertucci.
