Robert A. DiMuccio, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Amica Mutual Insurance Company, is the recipient of the Verrazzano Day Observance Committee's 2016 Man of the Year Award.

The award will be presented at the organization's annual dinner on Saturday, May 14, at the Venus de Milo restaurant in Swansea, Mass. DiMuccio, a resident of Cumberland, is a native Rhode Islander and graduate of Providence College. He joined Amica in 1991 as a vice president in the accounting department and has held many other offices at the company, becoming president and chief executive officer in 2005 and chairman in 2008.
