swissnex Boston and the Consulate General of Italy in Boston are celebrating the Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo with two events during the Week of the Italian Language.
"Italian Language and Bilingualism" - Panel Discussion - 10/27 | 6PM | swissnex Boston
"Italian Language and Bilingualism" will bring together 3 transatlantic linguistics experts – Andrea Moro, Gennaro Chierchia, and Suzanne Flynn – who will discuss the role of the Italian language in the architecture of the human language, in natural logic, and with bilingualism.
"Crack" - Staged Reading with Music - 10/29 | 7PM | swissnex Boston
"Crack" will bring to life the story of a pair of lovers 'lost in limbo' in the American Premiere of the play by Cristina Castrillo, under the direction of Guy Ben-Aharon. The staged reading will be accompanied with music by Patrick Greeley. A reception will follow afterwards.
