Westside Italian Cultural group has been invited to join Amici Italian at their annual family picnic. Details: Mary S. Young Park, located at 19900 Willamette Drive in West Linn, OR. Includes the famous Bocce-on-the-Turf tournament on Saturday, July 21. The picnic begins at 11am, lunch is served at noon and bocce begins at 1:30pm. The club will provide Italian sausages (prepared by our very own grill masters), soda, water, wine, and plates, silverware and napkins.

Please bring a main dish, or salad to share. Everyone is also welcome to bring a dessert! There is ample seating in and around the picnic shelter but bring your own chairs to watch the bocce tournament. Bocce entry fee is $2.00 per player. First place winners will receive a gift certificate and their names engraved on our bocce trophy; second and third place will share a cash prize. NOTE: We need regulation-sized bocce ball sets to use at the tournament! If you own a set, please bring it with you. Mille grazie!

Directions to Mary S. Young Park: Going south from Portland, you can take I-205 south, take Exit 8 for West Linn/Hwy 43 and turn right on to Willamette Drive at the light. Continue for approximately two miles and the park entrance will be on your right. From the west side of town, take I-5 south to I-205 and head north. Take Exit 8 for West Linn/Hwy 43 and turn left on to Willamette Drive at the light. Continue for a little over two miles and the park entrance will be on your right.
