The Italian Club at the UW recently attended the University District Neighborhood Farmers Market and ran a stand to do some community outreach and promote the club. Club officers gave out a recipe cards with classic Italian recipes and mingled with the public and provided information about upcoming Italian Club events. The effort was success with many folks stopping by and signing up to receive information about the club. Below are some more upcoming Italian Club events.
-Aperitivo with Italian Club
The Italian Club will offer a few apperitivos plus Italian conversation (and homework help for 100-300 level students) on every other Wednesday at 5:15pm in a Paccar Hall room. Stay posted for when the meetings will start and the room number!
-Ronald McDonald House Dinners
On November 30th memebrs of the Italian Club and department will cook an Italian meal for the families staying at the Ronald Mcdonald. They will cook dinner and serve 25 people, the club plans to make this a quarterly event.
