Scottdale resident Tony Lizza is on top of one state social organization. He currently sits as president of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania Sons and Daughters of Italy. Born in Italy, Lizza joined the Sons of Italy organization on Jan. 1, 1980.
"I thought it would be a good place to meet other Italian people," he said. "I just love it. I'm proud to be Italian and I want to pass on our customs and heritage to my kids and grand kids. This is the melting pot and I'm proud of the country I came from."
