On Wednesday December 4th Professors Falvo, Amodeo, and Morando (Italian) interviewed Ms. Mackenzie Burnett (GVPT), named a 2014 UM Philip Merrill Presidential Scholar and National Innovation Scholar, to discuss her academic career, especially the role her high school Italian teacher played in her development as a scholar and student of Italian.
As part of the Philip Merrill Presidential Scholar program, Mackenzie chose Professoressa Laura Farro, Wilde Lake High School (Howard County), for recognition as the secondary school teacher who played the greatest role in her educational development.
