On Wednesday, June 4th more than 49 smiling children, ages 4 -12, joined Camp Italia at the Garden City Public Library for a free Italian session in language and culture.
The event was presented by Camp Italia of Garden City in partnership with New York Italians in an effort to introduce children to a world language and its culture in a funfilled and playful manner. Last week's program was the first of a series of Italian cultural events for children that Camp Italia will present throughout the year.
