Jimmy Lodato has announced his candidacy for the non-partisan position of Hernando County School Board, District 3. Jimmy has been heavily involved with the School District for several years. He most recently spearheaded the campaign to revive the half cent funding for school capital improvements as Chairman of the Steering Committee and co-Chair of the Save Our Students Hernando PC.

The initiative passed by a 60.5% majority. During the campaign, Jimmy visited all Hernando county schools and met with teachers, students and school employees who shared the needs of the District with him. He saw the needs are great and decided to run for School Board.
