Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, born in Delaware 40 years ago, has just started roasting turkeys and piling Italian cold cuts atop submarine rolls at its second Northern California outlet.

The new location, at the Verdant complex in North San Jose's tech corridor, is open now but will celebrate with a grand opening on Saturday, April 2. That day, the first 100 guests in line before the 11 a.m. opening will receive free Bobbies for a year.
