If you are unable to take that European vacation this summer—you might want to check out Casa Vincenzo. Here the Deshayes family, French transplants who had been living in London, serve an Italian menu with European charm and the sort of relaxed, laid back service you'd expect from the bistros and trattorias of western Europe.
If you ever frequented Buona Vita, the previous occupant of this Pier Avenue space in Hermosa Beach, you will recognize the clean lines and rustic feel, the taupe walls and dark wood tables. The interior has been freshened up and is currently adorned with some vivid artwork by Hermosa artist Rafael McMaster that is both on display and for sale.
