Power couple Fabio and Maria Trabocchi, the restaurateurs behind Michelin-starred Fiola, seafood-centric Fiola Mare, and Spanish-style Del Mar, plan to open a second Sfoglina in Rosslyn later this year, reports the Washington Business Journal.
The 4,500-square-foot Italian restaurant, destined for the base of the 1100 Wilson Boulevard office tower, marks the award-winning chef’s first foray across the Potomac River since opening Fiola in Penn Quarter. Trabocchi previously led fine dining restaurant Maestro inside the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner before decamping in 2007 to take a job in New York City.
