A longtime Mount Vernon restaurant that closed last year after 65 years and then reopened briefly is expected to reopen again Oct. 18. The Lincoln Lounge, also known as Solano's, operated for 65 years at 209 Stevens Ave. before closing May 2015.

"We're going to continue the legacy and bring back what it was," said Federico Gugliemo, who with Gerardo Petti of Full Moon Pizza on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, will run the new venture. The new menu will focus on traditional Italian American fare. Sandwiches will range from $8.95 to $10.95 and entrees from $17.95 to $29.95.
