Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza has selected a modern, upscale Italian concept for its rooftop restaurant.
The hotel, at 901 W. 48th Place, plans to open the 4,000-square-foot restaurant on Nov. 6, next to its rooftop pool.
Rosso, (pronounced ROHS-soh) or red in Italian, will be open Sunday through Thursday. Breakfast hours will be 6:30 to 10 a.m., lunch hours from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and dinner from 5:30 to 10 p.m.
Executive chef Brian Archibald studied at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and has worked at Daniel restaurant in New York, The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Ariz., and most recently at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel.
