IN THE KITCHEN Pasquale Celone takes a personal approach to cooking at the restaurant in Londonderry, N.H., that bears his name. His approach to food is simple: “If I don’t like it, you don’t like it.” Celone was born in Torre Annunziata just outside Naples, where his family grew San Marzano tomatoes and other veggies.
He says his passion for cooking began early, at the age of 5, when he could “usually be found in the kitchen with a spoon in my hand helping my nonna and my mamma as they prepared their wonderful Sunday lunch,” according to his restaurant’s website.
