La Pecora Bianca, the popular casual Italian cafe and restaurant near Madison Square Park, is opening a location in Midtown with about twice the space. The restaurant, which first opened in Nomad in 2015, will be bringing a similar menu of Italian fare to 950 Second Avenue, at 50th Street, starting Friday night.
Executive Chef Cruz Goler, who’s previously worked for chefs like Mario Batali and Jean-Georges Vongerichten, has created a menu with lots of pasta and vegetables, including its signature dish gramigna with sausage and broccolini and tagliatelle with beef and pork bolognese.
