Redsauce in The Villages is a tribute to Italian-American food

Redsauce was opened as a tribute to Italian-American food, heritage and the little old-school restaurants known as “redsauce joints” in densely populated neighborhoods. The restaurant has been a staple in The Villages for 10 years, the last three years under the family ownership of Jack and Theresa Suleiman.

The Villages residents Jeanie Harkin and daughter, Brittany Harkin, are regulars at the restaurant for both lunch and dinner, although most frequently for dinner because of the music. There for lunch at an outside table, Brittany had a salad with goat cheese, raspberries and blueberries, and said it was “phenomenal.”
