In honor of the 10th anniversary of their first restaurant, Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen, chefs Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman are throwing a star-studded chef block party Oct. 22. Ticer and Hudman have invited some of their closest chef friends and industry peers who have inspired them throughout the last decade to join them for this special celebration. The list reads as the “who’s who” in the chef world with participants like Ryan Prewitt (Peche Seafood Grill, New Orleans), Kevin Nashan (The Peacemaker & Sidney Street Café, St. Louis) and Jason Vincent (City Mouse, Chicago).
"We started wanting to do a dinner at Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen with some folks who really have inspired, mentored and motivated us over the last 10 years. As we've traveled, the invaluable experience has come from eating other chefs' food, learning their operations, seeing our industry from a different perspective," Ticer said. "That's what we've tried to do in the restaurants for the last 10 years. But as we went along, the list got longer and longer, and it was too big for a single dinner. We'd invited 40 people, and even though everyone couldn't do it, we had these chefs and beverage professionals who could.”
