More than 1,200 low-income children and their families were served a special Thanksgiving meal courtesy of Piero’s Italian Cuisine. The Thanksgiving feast included preparing 400 pounds of turkey, 1,000 pounds of potatoes, and 300 pies. It was all to make people like Tiffany Hill and her family happy this holiday. They’re Vegas transplants and had no place to go for a warm holiday meal.
“We needed to do something special for Thanksgiving and enjoy our family,” said Hill. For 26 years, that’s been the mission for the owners of Piero’s restaurant. This year, they welcomed in more than 1,200 families for a free meal.
