The textile district of Prato recorded an increase in exports of 10% in the third quarter of 2014. Yarns (despite a slowdown) and textiles are still the two main engines of growth.
"Those who export and are readier to innovate are doing well," explained Andrea Cavicchi, the president of Prato's Confindustria, the association of local businesses.
