The prestigious Foreigners University of Perugia, in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Embassy in Washington DC is offering 50 scholarships in celebration of the 2013 Year of Italian Culture in the US.
Twenty-five scholarships are offered to American high school AP Italian students, while the other twenty-five are for American Middle School and High School Italian teachers and principals. The lucky 50 will gain free enrollment at the Foreigners University of Perugia in Italian language and culture courses, as well as a stipend. Teachers will also receive a refresher course on Italian language instruction.
