Mario Fratti, di recente venuto in Italia per ritirare l'ennesimo riconoscimento alla carriera - questa volta assegnato dalla Dante Alighieri e consegnatogli a Roma dal Segretario Generale, Alessandro Masi -, così come tanti nostri connazionali, anche dopo anni di lontananza, resta fortemente legato alla sua terra, l'Abruzzo, e alla sua martoriata città, L'Aquila, cui non perde occasione di tornare.
