Newcomer LeDiesis has devised a street art treasure hunt in Florence for International Women’s Day. First announced on Instagram with hashtags #LeDiesis #8marzo2019 #streetart, the incognito creative or collective has affixed eight iconic women dressed as Superwoman throughout the city in spaces formerly occupied by doors and windows.
Rita Levi-Montalcini, Frida Kahlo, Margherita Hack, Princess Lela, Sophia Loren, the Virgin Mary, Nefertiti and Kill Bill's The Bride are the women portrayed by the artist.
