14 awards available for 2020-21- Fulbright Scholar Program to Teach/Research in Italy

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program is accepting applications for the 2020-21 academic year. Opportunities are available for artists, college and university faculty, professionals, and independent scholars to teach and conduct research at educational institutions and research institutions in Italy.

Fulbright Scholars represent the diversity of the United States and build lasting relationships with students, collaborators, the wider research community, and/or institutions abroad that serve as the foundation for future collaborations.  There are 14 opportunities available in Italy including the following highlights.  

Fulbright Lectureship in Italian-American Studies at the University of Calabria  

Teach one seminary style class at the graduate level for one semester at the University of Calabria. The course should be focused on the experience of Italians and Italian-Americans within the United States. All teaching will be in English. A letter of invitation should not be sought. 

Fulbright-Schuman Postdoctoral Award at the European University Institute (Florence, Italy) 

Spend time at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy in one of the following departments: Economics, History and Civilization, Law, Political and Social Sciences, or the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies studying interdisciplinary, comparative, and policy research on the European integration process. A letter of invitation should not be sought.
