The world of streaming has worked wonders when it comes to broadening our pop culture horizons. Not too long ago liking British comedies felt like a niche interest. Now it’s common for shows like complicated international thrillers likeNarcos and Dark to be praised in casual conversations. But there’s one country that’s been getting a little extra love in the States lately — Italy.

It’s not that there have been more Italian characters or mob dramas on the tube lately, though that’s certainly true.
