Rise Pies and MidiCi, two Neapolitan-style pizzerias, are making their West Michigan debut at malls this week. Both plan to give away pizzas as part of their opening week promotions. Neapolitan pizza is a style of pizza from the Naples region of Italy that is prepared with simple and fresh ingredients.
Rise Pies Handcrafted Pizza is slated to open Wednesday, Feb. 8 at Tanger Outlets at 350 84th St SW in Byron Township. The restaurant is located in suite 240, between Nike and Old Navy Outlet. Rise Pies is known for its thin, Neapolitan style pizzas. The Ohio-based chain was started by Eddie Muransky, and his dad, Ed, who have strong ties to Michigan.
