On Tuesday, July 14 at 7 p.m., Gil Fagiani will be the featured speaker for an evening of poetry at The Ferguson Library, Weed Memorial & Hollander Branch. He will read and discuss his new book of poetry Stone Walls, about growing up in the Springdale neighborhood of Stamford during the 1950s.
Gil Fagiani is a poet, essayist, short story writer, and translator. In addition to writing, Mr. Fagiani's life experiences have included time as a community organizer, a political radical, and a social worker. He co-hosts the monthly reading of the Italian American Writers Association at the Cornelia Street Cafe, and is the Associate Editor of Feila-Festa: A Literary Arts Magazine.
