Who would have thought an Italian restaurant in Boulder would have the fate of the Broncos in their fettuccine? Jay Elowsky does. He owns Pasta Jay's in Boulder and has been feeding the Broncos franchise for years. "They understand the value of complex carbohydrates for fuel two days before a game and so they've been using us for big games and throughout the playoffs," Elowsky said.
In the 16 times Pasta Jay's has fed the Broncos, they have each time. "The 2012-2013 season, we fed them before they played the Chargers, the Chiefs, Tampa Bay and the Raiders. Who won? The Broncos," Elowsky said. After this season's playoff wins over the Steelers and Patriots, the Broncos ravaged Pasta Jay's ravioli.
