L'ultima in ordine di tempo è Barilla, con la sua terza apertura a Manhattan. A cavalcare quest'onda sono anche colossi quali Eataly, Parmacotto e Giovanni Rana, l'uno specializzato nella vendita di prodotti gastronomici di alto livello regna sulla 5th Avenue, l'altro celebre produttore di salumi ha aperto un ristorante nell'Upper West Side, il terzo leader nel mercato della pasta fresca si trova al Chelsea Market, nel Meatpacking District.
