Buccellati takes over a sprawling Manhattan townhouse

Milanese fine jewelry house Buccellati recently moved its New York flagship to a sprawling five-story townhouse on the Upper East Side. The 7,000-square-foot space at 714 Madison Avenue—formerly occupied by the beloved Laura Ashley company, and, most recently, by the French jeweler Mauboussin—displays Buccellati's fine and high jewelry, bridal and silver collections, watches, and objets d'art.

The jeweler tapped Vudafieri Saverino Partners to conceive a contemporary showroom that also reflects the brand's heritage, including such elements as damask-covered panels, oak floors laid in a Versailles pattern, modern furnishings by Giorgetti, and smoked-molten-glass walls.
