As a trustee for Essex County College, a former councilman, coach, and community leader and volunteer, Joseph Maceri has a record of getting the job done for his community. Joe is currently a member of the Finance Committee of Essex County College, a committee responsible of managing an annual budget of approximately $56,000,000. He also serves on the Essex County College Policy and Governance Committee and the Personnel Committee, as well as the local Cedar Grove Environmental Commission.
His board experience also includes positions with Open Space Committee, Regional Flood Board Committee, and chairman of Domestic Violence Committee. As a practicing attorney, he has spent over 16 years protecting victims of domestic violence. Joe is a member of Cedar Grove Unico for over ten years and has also served as their Vice President and General Counsel.
