When it was announced that Marc Vetri would close the Moorestown Mall location of his Broad Street restaurant, Osteria, pasta fans scarcely had a moment to fret that their appetites for Bucatini all’Ama-triciana would go unfulfilled. A second location of Catelli Duo was set to open in the space. Finally, last fall, that second helping arrived.
The original location of Catelli Duo opened in the Voorhees Town Center in 2012, helmed by the same players who had closed Catelli Restaurant, a 17-year veteran in the Voorhees restaurant scene. The original concept of the sequel was to take the beloved Italian flavors of the original, but dress them down a little bit and modernize them to better accommodate a style of dining that doesn’t require the traditional three- or four-course format.
