New owners of an Italian restaurant in Cozad are honored to carry on the restaurant's name and tradition of delicious and fresh authentic Italian food. Mark and Ines Diaz of Lexington, husband and wife, assumed ownership of Bella Italia in November. Although ownership has changed, the menu has not thanks to extensive training provided by chef Mohamed Aboushady, known as "Shadi," who established the restaurant in 2003.
Mark Diaz said he is committed to offer the same fine dining experience customers have come to expect. He said Shadi has shared more than recipes, mentoring him in techniques and sharing his zeal for creating delicious food.
