The Italian Cultural Center proudly presents EVOO, a fabulous evening of extra virgin olive oil. During the event you will taste four different extra virgin olive oils from the regions of Trentino Alto Adige, Toscana, Calabria and Sicilia. You will learn how the varieties and different olive processes affect the final flavor and how to distinguish the difference between real EVOO from adulterated or rancid oil. Come experience the different tastes of oils based on olive type and growing conditions.
This delicious and informative experience will be presented by Andrea Zarattini, an olive oil lover and producer. Andrea attended several Olive oil courses and seminars both in Italy and in the US. He is a Certified Olive Oil Professional Taster by ONAOO (Organizzazione Nazionale Assaggiatori Olio di Oliva) and A.R.S.S.A. (Agenzia Regionale per i Servizi di Sviluppo Agricolo in Abruzzo). He is also the producer of Lotario Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a multi awarded oil in Italian and International competitions.
