Former Bridgeport mayor and current Easton resident Leonard Paoletta has been named grand marshal of the annual Bridgeport Columbus Day Parade.
The Council of Italian American Societies, headed by Bridgeport resident Chris Caruso, who is also an official in the administration of Gov. Dannel Malloy, made the selection.
Mr. Paoletta was tremendously pleased to be honored with the recognition by the council.
