“Giù le mani da Colombo” è il nome del comitato promosso dalla Italy America Chamber of Commerce di New York. Nata nel 1887, la più antica Camera di Commercio internazionale al mondo, da sempre vero ponte tra l’Italia e gli Stati Uniti non ci sta alla messa al bando del Navigatore.
Il Comitato si fa promotore e capofila delle tante realtà Italiane e Italo Americane, che stanno vivendo gli attacchi alla figura di Cristoforo Colombo anche come un attacco alla storia e alla cultura di un Paese come l’Italia che ha contribuito in maniera importante a rendere grande gli Stati Uniti d’America.
