An area Italian ethnic organization will host a meet-up next week to share coffee and conversation in the language of its homeland. SIAMO: The Italian-American Heritage Society of Northeastern Pennsylvania will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Adezzo coffee shop, 515 Center St., for its first Italian Language Hour.
The gathering is not an Italian class, but a chance for local Italian speakers to brush up on their skills and meet others who also speak it. For more information, call 570-290-7212 or email [email protected].
