Nicole Alexandra Cacchiotti, Global Business Student at Suffolk University, was chosen as the Grand Prize Winner of the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) Photography Competition. The competition asked photographers, amateurs and professionals, to submit images that best captured “That’s Amore”, and received entries from all over the world. Cacchiotti’s winning photograph, Gli Amanti, was chosen out of 22 semi-finalists, and she won round-trip flights, a two-night stay at the Washington Marriott, and tickets to all the NIAF 42nd Anniversary Gala events in Washington DC, for herself and a guest, the weekend of November 3-5th.
Cacchiotti’s photograph, captured in Siena Italy, will be displayed at “Expo Siciliana” throughout NIAF’s Gala Weekend in Washington, DC, as well as published in NIAF’s social media pages, and in the upcoming winter print issue of Ambassador magazine, which has an international following.
