Spring is here, and one Italian restaurant is celebrating the season with a new menu. Oro Restaurant & Lounge, located at 41-17 Crescent St., has made authentic Italian cuisine a highlight of its menu since opening its doors in Dutch Kills last August. This month, under the helm of executive chef Scott Andriani, the restaurant is introducing a slew of new food items to bring a twist to what they currently offer.
“The new menu is a play on two generations of ownership,” said restaurateur Mike Celic, “paying homage to the neighborhood which itself is in between two stages of development.” Appropriately, the menu is divided into two sides labeled “Classics” and “Modern,” with the former listing familiar dishes such as penne alla vodka, fettuccini alfredo and whole roasted branzino.
