On Wednesday, the focus was on food, dancing and fellowship. On Sunday, celebrants of the annual St. Roch's Feast will march through the streets of Chickahominy to honor their namesake and patron saint.
The traditional procession, led by The Society Morrese and accompanied by a brass band, will begin at St. Roch's Church at 9 a.m. Sunday, circle through the streets of the neighborhood and return to the church in time for a noon Mass in Italian and English. The Mass will be followed with a dinner and dance in New York City.
